Are you struggling to keep your home office organized?

“I don’t know where to put stuff so I can find it again.”

“I don’t want to hide stuff in a file, but I don’t want it all over my desk either.”

“I can’t find anything and it’s driving me crazy.”

Sound familiar?

It’s stressful when things slip through the cracks – and maybe it happens more often than you’d like. There’s so much to deal with every day, you often feel stressed and guilty that you don’t get to it all.

When these “incompletes” build up over time, it’s frustrating. Overwhelming. Hard to focus on what you’re doing – much less make a profit.

You’re not alone.

Most people think that their organizing troubles are evidence of some major character flaw.

There’s nothing wrong with you.

Disorganization isn’t a character flaw, it’s a symptom. It means your space isn’t working effectively or supporting you.

Some common workspace trouble spots:

  • Feels uncomfortable and uninviting
  • Lacks sufficient storage
  • Makes concentrating difficult
  • Feels cramped or too small

When your space has challenges like these and you’re unable to solve them, you start to think that there just aren’t any solutions.

All it takes are fresh eyes.
A lot of people assume it’s the physical space that’s not working. While that’s sometimes true, more often it’s how you’re using the space. When all you want to do is get stuff done, slowing down to find the trouble spots can be hard.

That’s what fresh eyes are for.

No matter what’s troubling you, you can create spaciousness, flow, and ease in your workspace. You can be supported and feel focused and have very few things slip through the cracks. You can feel completely “on your game”, no matter how impossible that might sound.

I was discouraged as I felt like I had looked at the space, its limitations, and my needs from every angle and I still wasn’t coming up with a great solution. Frankly, I hesitated calling you because I had spent so much time exploring options.

Well, I’m thrilled with outcome. Your process works wonderfully – it’s a great synthesis of exploration, guidance, and knowledge. I appreciated the permission to move things which opened up new choices. Love the results.

From someone who’s been there

Hi. I’m Jen. When I first became self-employed, I struggled to stay on top of my stuff. There were so many things to remember and they all had complex moving parts – marketing, clients, services, payment – I got so overwhelmed. My great ideas got lost in the shuffle. I could barely keep it all together.

Actually, feeling “together” seemed like a distant dream.

But even though I was struggling, I realized that my business couldn’t really grow until I could hang onto those ideas and follow through with them. As I began to develop creative, organic systems for my business and my sanity, I realized that others could benefit from what I discovered – and Inspired Home Office was born.

Inspired Organizing

A 3-month program that helps you get in sync with your true organizing style so your business can thrive.

Inspired Organizing helps creative, non-linear people discover how to sustainably juggle the important stuff. It helps you set up a workspace that supports you – so you can focus on doing the work you love.

In the Inspired Organizing program, you’ll meet other small business owners who are bright, big-hearted, and kinda cluttered.

In this non-judgmental learning community, you learn…

  • The wisdom of procrastination.
  • The way to befriend your brain and get your organizing systems accommodate you.
  • Where intrinsic motivation to work on your office comes from.
  • The best places to store important items so you can work interruption-free.
  • The magic way to make piles disappear.
  • Intuitive tricks for managing email easily.
  • How to prevent burn-out and build sustainability into your work.
  • …and these are just the tip of the iceberg.

What you won’t get in this program

One of the difficulties of organizing is trying to stick to someone else’s system.

In this program, you won’t get a structure imposed on you. Instead, you get your own system. You’ll discover what works best for you based on time-tested principles about how the brain works – because that’s what makes systems stick effortlessly.

It’s incredible to have space in my office and to be able to continue to work as I do, chaotic to others eyes, jumping here and there, but to me, it is my style and I no longer need to judge myself with negative talk because I have piles, I am always looking for things, on and on.

Thanks to my sweet Jennifer and her honoring my way of working, making suggestions that recognize who I am and how I work in this “jumping around” way and still have empty space to work in.

I am sitting at my desk, looking out the window and saying from the bottom of my heart, Ms Jennifer, you are truly a blessing.
